Hose extrusion and perforation damage are two of the most common causes of premature seal failure in clamped assemblies — and both are entirely preventable with the right clamp design. Our bead-lined worm gear clamps address both failure modes in a single engineered solution: a non-perforated inner liner, formed as a separate floating sleeve, that sits between the hose surface and the perforated outer band. As the clamp tightens, the liner distributes sealing force evenly across the full 360-degree contact area rather than concentrating it at the band perforations — eliminating the bite points that cause silicone and soft hose to cut or extrude over time. The floating design also means the liner remains stationary against the hose during tightening, preventing the rotational surface wear that occurs with bonded-liner alternatives. Available in marine-grade stainless steel construction for long-term corrosion resistance, and covering the diameter ranges most commonly required in HVAC ducting, automotive charge air and cooling systems, and food and pharmaceutical-grade pipework where surface integrity is a compliance requirement.
